Child’s Pose

Start in Child鈥檚 Pose to gently stretch your lower back and hips. Bring your knees wide, big toes touching, and sink your hips back towards your heels. Stretch your arms forward and rest your forehead on the mat.

Cat-Cow Pose

Next, move into Cat-Cow to warm up your spine. Come onto your hands and knees, with your wrists directly under your shoulders and knees under your hips. Inhale, arch your back and lift your head for Cow Pose. Exhale, round your back and tuck your chin for Cat Pose. Continue this flow for a few breaths.

Downward-Facing Dog

Tuck your toes, lift your hips up and back, creating an inverted V shape with your body. Keep your knees slightly bent if needed, and focus on lengthening your spine.

Low Lunge

Step your right foot forward between your hands for a Low Lunge. Keep your left knee on the mat, and inhale to lift your arms up, opening your chest. This pose stretches your hips and groin.

Warrior II

Lift your back knee and rotate your back foot to a 90-degree angle. Open your hips and extend your arms out to the sides. Gaze over your front hand. Feel the strength and stability in this pose.

Triangle Pose

Straighten your front leg and reach forward with your right hand, lowering it to your shin or the floor. Extend your left arm up towards the sky, opening your chest.

Seated Forward Fold

Sit with your legs extended, and hinge at your hips to reach for your toes. Keep your back straight and relax into the stretch.
