I’m Lou-Lou, and I’m thrilled to have you here at Mumaloulou. This isn’t just a health and wellbeing space – it’s a place where we celebrate imperfection and embrace self-discovery. Life is challenging, and now more than ever, we need moments to reconnect with ourselves and others, because, well, life has gotten a bit tough for us all.
A Little Bit About Me:
I am a registered Nurse with extensive experience in health, skin care and aesthetics. Despite my professional focus on health and personal desire to be strong and healthy, I once (really) struggled with consistency in my own wellbeing. That changed during a transformative teacher training trip to Bali, where I found balance and happiness through yoga and finally began my journey to self-acceptance. Suddenly, those pesky bouts of depression? Gone. And exercising regularly? Piece of cake. A year later I was asking myself ‘Am I still THIS happy?’ And the answer was a big proud SMILE!
But, I’m Still Human:
Don’t get me wrong – I’m still me. I still have days where I feel like I’m trudging through the mud, just like everyone else. But the difference is, I’ve discovered this beautiful sense of self-kindness that I never thought possible, and I’m out of that mud quickly! And guess what? I’m here to help you do the same.
Who this stuff is for:
All ages, and all body sizes and shapes are very welcome, it’s a judgment-free space in here. I believe everyone can benefit (and enjoy) these scientifically researched practices, physically and mentally. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi/meditator or a beginner, there’s a place for you here. Our focus isn’t on trying to look a certain way or to be able to pose like a pretzel, but on creating a safe environment where you can be yourself and learn to feel good in your skin. Your comfort is vital – PJ’s are encouraged!
